I have not seen a home of that architecture for a long time! It is gorgeous. You are in the right place at the right time. Katerina

Thanks Katerina....This home is in an old part of Victoria which we call Vic West. Possibly pre 1900

Cheers, thanks for visiting !

Fred, wow...I'm jealous! Most of the country is not experiencing what you are...enjoy it and while you are in that market make sure you put some $ aside for a rainy day!

Do you happen to know where the new Home Buyers are coming from in your market? Are they people who are buying up or replants from somewhere?

Gena..I thought our Market was going to slip last Fall, and by February we jumped 65% in activity, now we're up over 10% this year alone. Activity is coming from a strong economy here, new buyers are people wanting it Now ! Most are new home buyers, people moving here only account for less than 30%.

I'm in a crank up the listings mode for the Fall... Everything I have has Sold this Summer.

Fred, that is fabulous. Enjoy it. Those numbers are GREAT!! Keep up the good work and get some more of those listings!!!

hey- enjoy it while it lasts! It seems different cities have different cycles. I'm hearing even Calgary has a high inventory now.

Hi Paul...thanks for visiting.I understand Calgary did not Boom while the rest of Canada and USA did until last year, then they doubled in less than 12 months, many there are concerned the price increases wil not last and are bailing to take advantage of the increase which is putting increase on their listing inventory.

We Current have about 1400 SF homes for Sale with about 600 pending sales, 138 Completed sale this Month, A little different than Calgary, We saw our Market Stopped in 95 and did no see a return to normality until 2000, Calgary and other areas did not see that long of a downturn, Yes we have higher house values, but then again we live in the Best weather in Canada year round and on an island where there is limited amount of land.

Cheers, have an awesome day :O)
