Blue Ridge Gone Wild!

The 8^th Annual Wildlife and Nature Art Festival and Outdoor Expo is coming to Blue Ridge on September 15 and 16^th.  This is one of the largest wildlife art festivals in North Georgia drawing more than 7000 people last year, thanks to the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association.

Experts in hiking, fly fishing, horseback riding, rafting, and biking will be available to provide information in these areas.  The festival will have a wildlife or nature theme and cater to the outdoor enthusiast.  There will be many award winning artists on hand along with local participants such as:

• Toccoa River Outfitters
• Blue Ridge Fly Fishing Guides
• Georgia Forest Watch
• Big Bear Ranch

The expo will take place in the railroad park in downtown Blue Ridge and on West First Street.  The festival is free and the hours are Saturday, 10:00 - 5:00 p.m and Sunday, 12:00 - 5:00 p.m.  Call 706-632-2144 for more information.
