The National Business Aviation Association wrapped up this weekend and produced favorable results for Wichita plane makers and sub-contractors. Honeywell Corporation has reported a 15% increase in sales for this year and says the demand for business aircraft should remain very strong for the next 12-15 years. Attendance and exhibitors were way up at this years show.
Local plane maker Raytheon aircraft reported over 80 sales, Cessna Aircraft reported over 100 sales and Bombardie reported and number of sales for their Challenger and Learjet models.
Roll Royce enginemaker projected a demand for 24,000 business jets over the next 20 years including the new Very-Light jets that sell under $4,000,000.
All this is great news for Wichita. Bombardier Aerospace builds their Learjet models in Wichita along with all the Raytheon Hawker & Beech Jets and Cessna's many Citation models.

It was great hearing from you this morning about the healthy economy and real estate market in Wichita. With nearly all the other Cyberprofessionals reporting down markets, with Michigan being the worst, it's good to hear about an area doing so well.
