It's almost autumn picture taking time!

Yesterday I walked out of the grocery store, looked up at Mt. Olympus and was shocked to see that the leaves are already changing colors!  

That can only mean that fall is coming and it's time to get up to the canyons to take pictures of the beautiful scenery that they have to offer in the autumn season.  A favorite of mine and my wife's is the Alpine loop in Utah county.  Few things I've seen can parallel the views there in mid-autumn.  The reds pop out at you and make for some amazing photos.  I've got a better camera this year, so I will surely be there snapping away.  

Another favorite of mine, and not too taxing, is the small walk around Silver Lake at Brighton.  We've taken some great photos there in the past - usually the beginning of October if I remember right.  It's chilly by that time so dress appropriately.
