I have a builder that is preparing to put a market home up. The question that I would other professionals to answer is on the counters do your buyers prefer Granite or do they recognize what Quartzite is?
Also what is the general feeling on Venetian bronze fixtures or Brushed Platinum?
Thank you for your help in advance.

James,
I think it's a matter of personal preference. Perhaps if you find someone to purchase prior to completing the home they could choose.
I love granite and marble and I'm more Venetian bronze. It also is a personal preference. Of course whatever you choose, it should blend well together.
I live in Florida, there is a lot of custom tile work down here and a lot of granite and marble....so really who can say?

There's no way to trim a new home perfectly. Go with what excites you and the builder as your excitement will convey to your eventual buyer.
So far it sounds like Granite even though Quartzite is a higher priced product and you do not have to reseal it like Granite.
In our conversions we have had better response to the brushed! It shows less finger prints and is easier to clean.
I think granite has more recognition by consumers. I agree with Todd on the fixtures, but it will boil down to the buyer's personal taste.
