Dolphin feed in Choctawhatchee Bay, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Dolphin churning water in Choctawhatchee BayThis is not really a great picture, but what you are seeing is dolphin churning up the water in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. They circle and herd mullet until they get the mullet all grouped together in a tight little bunch. Then they take turns tearing through the group to feed. We counted eight dophin in this pod. Birds fly overhead and feed on the parts of fish the dolphin scattered. It is a frenzy. Just part of day to day events here on Choctawhatchee Bay in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Robert, that is too cool!!  I'm really not too sure what mullet are but obviously something dolphins feed on.  So the dolphins work together to herd them all in to a group to feed.  It seems like there is a lesson to be learned there.
