Phoenix Tops the List

How about a little positive news for a change? The Business Journal reports that Phoenix has been named as the number 1 market for job growth! Phoenix has expanded its employment base by 23.4 percent since 2002 which is almost quadrupling the national rate. This is according to a new Bizjournal study just out.

One of Mayor Phil Gordon's priorities is expansion of business for the area. "We're a business-friendly city that realizes as businesses prosper, the city of Phoenix will prosper," Gordon said. This bodes well for the housing industry when people move here to accept employment. Austin Litvak, an associate economist with Moody's Economy.com, an international research firm said, "The housing market is going through a correction now, but when it stabilizes, we believe Phoenix will begin accelerating again."

Phoenix and the cities of the "Valley of the Sun" are progressive and moving forward and the influx of new residents will help the economy here stable.

If you have clients moving to our wonderful state please let me help them acclimate to this wonderful vibrant area. I can give your clients the "sellingedge" in Arizona.
