Roads panel brings ideas; Governor-appointed committee to take public comment on funding

The Coloradoan reports that a traveling road show featuring the state's transportation system and its funding problems is headed toward Northern Colorado. The Colorado Transportation Finance and Implementation Panel will make a stop in Windsor on Tuesday for an all-day meeting. Vacancies run short; Longmont rental availabilities lowest in six years The Daily Times-Call reports that Longmont is experiencing the tightest rental market in six years, partly driven by the high rate of foreclosures. The vacancy rate was 3.9 percent in the second quarter, according to the Colorado Division of Housing. In the north metro area, only sections of Boulder, unincorporated Boulder County and the Commerce City/Brighton areas have a lower vacancy rate.
