Jennifer, if you asked me to name all the Presidents of the United States, he would definitely be one of the ones I would not remember :)

He must have been a good President because I have not read anything bad about him.

George - I have not heard anything bad about him, and you are so right people tend to forget his name..Van Who? and that is one reason I included him in this post, hoping people would be curious.

Jennifer, The house caught my attention, then the president....Gee, I know the name but nothing about him except for this post; know I know where he lived :) 

I would have thought artist if you had just said the name. I know I knew them all at one time. He had great taste in homes, though.

Carole - It is a beautiful home that is now open to the public.  Most people some how don't remember this president.

Paula - I know what you mean, and you are not alone most people might have thought this was about a musician.
