Oregon is Turning 150 Years Old!

Oregon is turning 150 years old! Well not yet actually, but the planning is underway for Oregon's sesquicentennial(say that fast, three times!) celebration in 2009. For help on pronouncing sesquicentennial and to hear more information about celebrating Oregon 150 click here.

Oregon's official birthday is February 14, 2009 (Awww, you gotta love that.) And the official tag-line of Oregon's 150th birthday is, "Sustain the Spirit."
