The only time I was ever 'allowed' to get my flu shot was when I was pregnant. The doctor's office always tells me the 'vaccines haven't come in yet' or 'they're all out.' So when I hear someone is sick I stay away from them. Last year we were supposed to go to my sister-in-law's for Christmas-everyone was sick so we stayed home.
But thanks for the reminder I'll try to get one this year.
They have huge expos in my area and nearly every pharmacy with have flu shot days. You know Florida - the land of a Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid all on oposite corners. :)
