Big Brothers Big Sisters Deja Vu Ball

You may remember from one of my earlier Blogs that I've been a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 1997. My local office is Big Brothers Big Sisters Broward and our national office is Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. If you're not familiar with Big Brothers Big Sisters, it's the largest and oldest (100 years) Mentoring Organization in the U.S. We're also International now.

The Deja Vu Ball is held annually in Broward County and honors Community Leaders and Child Advocates in Broward County. This year's event will be a musical celebration of the 50's - 80's.

The Deja Vu Ball is scheduled for October 20, 2007 at the Bahia Mar Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale. If you're planning to attend, I'll see you there!

For this year, I haven't really decided what my outfit will be, but I'm running out of time, so I have to decide soon. I'm really leaning toward a Poodle Skirt type of outfit. When I attended in 2005, the theme was 1970's (see pic to the left).
