Agent "Allegedly" Shot By Home SellerEl Cajon, CA. A Real Estate Agent was shot (allegedly) shot buy the home seller. So it goes that the seller and the agent were arguing about offers on the sellers property. A neighbors description and recollection of the agent do not pose a pretty picture of agents. However if the seller did shoot the agent over an argument about the sale of the property, that was just uncalled for and unnecessary. Other avenues could be used to resolve and settle disagreements and arguments. I do not know the whole story other than what I read, but I as an agent would never openly argue with a client. Instead, I would hear the seller out and point out the facts and what might be best for him, I would end by saying "in the end the decision is yours and you have to live with your choice, I am merely here to educate, inform, and advise you." If I were unhappy having had worked for that person I might refer him to someone else. If I were a seller and was unhappy with my agent, I think I would just let our relationship dissolve, and not work with that agent again. Arguing with sellers, buyers, or anyone for that matter a little unnerving for me. You never know what kind of person you are dealing with, stable, unstable, or someone with little impulse control. I do not place blame on either the seller or the agent in this case, however I rather pointed out what I might have done. I would be pleased to hear what you think, and what you might do in this or another similar situation. Here is the link. |
