Last night the networking group I am part of called Business Referral Network had its first social mixer event. The turnout was great, we had a lot of people show up and I met and talked with some great business partners.
Our networking group is going to continue to have these events about every 45 days now. We will be planning another event sometime in December, and I will keep you posted.
Anyone who is interested in wanting to come and promote their business is more then welcome to attend.
These mixer events allow business owners to find another great way to social market your business and meet some great people.

I was thinking of putting one of these together for the longest time. Is there a group that organizes these across the country? Like a BNI?
Carlos- Email me your contact info and ask in the email to be invited to the next mixer and I will make sure you get an invite.
Lisa- I am not sure, there are a lot of different networking groups, and BNI is probably the biggest. I am not sure if they are doing mixer events or not. Our networking group just started doing them, to accomplish 2 things. Get to know more people and have a venue to invite more businesses to our regular referrals meetings. If you want more information on our networking group, please visit our website. We always welcomes guests, and if you like the group, we have certain rules to join. Lisa- I am so embarrassed. Usually I take a look at who comments and did not. I should of known. My suggestion, would be to start your own referral network, or mixer group. That is precisely what we did over 2 years ago. Call me if you need any suggestions. Now I will take a look at your profile.
