Earlier in the season, I ripped Arizona State and their new coach Dennis Erickson for what I considered a poorly executed football game against Colorado, but as the College Football season is moving on and Arizona State is still undeafted (7-0) with a perfect PAC 10 conference record (4-0), my mind is now made up that these guys are for real.
Arizona State now has a bi-week off before preparing for their homecoming game against Cal.
I think Arizona State might be able to have a breakout year and end up in a BCS bowl. Yes their schedule will be tough, but then again, I have seen everyone of their opponents in the PAC 10 go down to other teams we have defeated. So now its up to the Sun Devils to earn the race to a BCS bowl game.
Its funny how the polls have Arizona State ranked. The BCS rankings have them ranked 8th in the country and the other 3 polls have them 12th. I know the coaches poll are thinking they have not played their tougher schedule yet, and I have to agree, but ASU has proven themselves.
As a hometown lender here in Tempe, I love following my favorite college team and hope you like my posts.

Heck yeah, they are for real! :-) What a fun game last night. The schedule for the rest of the year, except for the last game, :-) looks to be tough but overall, this has to be considered a successful year under a new head coach. Recruiting should be good for next year.
Go Devils..
Nick- My wife and I went to a couple of games earlier this year in the stadium but watched it last night at our home with some of the Maroon and Gold Faithful. Dennis Erickson has proved me wrong, and I am glad we have the fan support back. Thanks for the comment
Go Devils!!!
I have been a Nebraska fan for all my life. I have attended many of the old time Fiesta bowls in Tempe. What a tradition! Is it going to be held at the new stadium now? Not that I am too concerned. I know they won't be making it to any BCS bowl any time soon!
Renee- The Fiesta Bowl Committee did decide to move the bowl to the new Stadium in Glendale Arizona. I always felt that College games should be played in a college stadium, but big money is big money. The new stadium is very state of the art. I also have season tickets to the Arizona Cardinals. On a side note, one of my favorite college experiences, is when I attended Arizona State and they beat Nebraska at Sun Devil stadium (19-0). That was when Nebraska was ranked #1 in the country. Anyhow, I am sure we all have our favorite college football stories. Thanks for the comment. How is the BPOs going in Nevada? We have a lot of foreclosure stuff here as well. All new subdivisions.
