Hawaii Mortgage Interest Rates 10/18

Aloha Everyone,

Mortgage rates fell slightly, the second time in the last 3 weeks.  But nearly the same as last weeks rates.

808 Home Mortgage, Inc. can offer wholesale rates from different lenders/banks.  Today for a 30 yr fixed mortgage I can get your clients 5.98% with 1 point, or 6.125% with .75 points, 6.25% with .25 points, lower than the average rates below.

Below are the average rates according to a survey of large lenders with an average of .35 points.  Lower rates available by paying more points up front.

The average 30-year fixed dipped to 6.49%.

The average 15-year fixed dipped to 6.17%.

The average jumbo 30-year fixed fell to 7.24%.

5/1 ARM fell to 6.26%.

Home Equity Loans Rates mixed:

The average HELOC dipped a little to 7.86%.

The average fixed-rate home equity loan rose to 8.09%.
