Dog Eat Dog

I recently blogged about leaving a business card after viewing a home and getting feedback when I contact other agents, see: http://activerain.com/blogsview/237463/Do-you.

One comment bothered me so I thought I would throw it out to see what my fellow Rainers thought. One comment said, no response is a response. So what do you think of that? What kind of response is it? My thought process was to get feedback from the clients and other agents point of view good or bad. Certainly if the client doesn't like the place feedback to me as to why is certainly helpful, in my opinion.

Certainly no response is they don't like it, but it doesn't say why. Are we agents just competitors in a "dog eat dog" industry or are we professionals poised to help clients and each other for the good of all? So is no response REALLY a worthy response or is it just rude and unprofessional?
