I hate to hear about this, it is awful.

The bad thing is that most times firefighters are their own worst enemy.  They preach smoke detectors and then go home to a house without any, fire safety and then do unsafe things at home...

HOW CAN I SAY THIS?  I WAS ONE FOR 18 YEARS.

Please don't get upset with me as the loss is a tragedy and I can also personally tell you that you never understand it until it happens to you.  IT HAS HAPPENED to me.  Not to the degree that you are describing but I had a $15,000 loss at my home just a little over a year ago.

Let me go through soe of the things we were going to donate to the local charity and see what I can find.  I will contact you to get a mailing address if there is anything I can send.

Thanks Jeffery! It is a good thing that they were all out safely, but they are now looking for shelter, etc. The Red Cross could only give them temporary housing for 3 days.

That is a HORRIBLE Story! I will surely pray for him and his family!
