And the media had the Red Sox dead and buried for the year...until..wait..what is this..7-1 win over Cleveland Indians? Watched with great glee until after midnight as Josh Beckett fanned batter after batter. The Boston Red Sox have been behind in the count before and rose to the occassion. See you Saturday night in Boston as Shilling takes to the mound. He has been there before remember? No bloody sock this year...cool, calm and in command. Nice to know besides real estate, juggling family and community responsibilities...folks from around the country can root for the home team. In all of Maine, Red Sox Nation is alive, kicking and never without faith in their New England team!

I too am a tired Broker. But from NY. I watched the game as well, but unfortunately watched the Indians lose.
Andrew - Let hope getting back to Boston givs these guys the spark they need to get back to the World Series. Shiiling is due to pitch a great game. I am more worried about the Dice man on Sunday.
Derrick...sorry to watch Joe Torre say good bye. Nice guy that will end up skippering another franchise and still has so much to give for a 67 year old. Not good to have the front office challenge players to win or else Joe's neck would be on the chopping block. Bill....spark underway...Shilling will be superb...border-line awesome. Everything will line up to take back the momentum...gotta believe. Dice K is the unknown...wonder how much rest starters really need if buttressed with little help here and there will deep bullpen?
