My Weekend Update for October 20th & 21st

This weekend was really relaxing for me for a change. Saturday was probably the best day I have had in a while. I had a foreclosure seminar to work Saturday morning, our first of many, and had a great turnout. Everyone who came was qualified to buy and are going out this week to find something.

After the seminar I rushed home to change and go to a friends surprise birthday party. She just turned 21, making me feel like an old man. Her husband and all of her friends, including some out of town guests decided to drop in for the occasion. We had a barbeque with good old fashion hot dogs and hamburgers, chips, vegetable trays, potato salad, macaroni salad and more. We had been planning this day for the last three weeks and she had no clue. It was great to surprise her.

We all got to talk and hang out. I got some pictures with their son, "gurgles" who is 6 months old, and daughter Naveah (Na Vey ah) 2 1/2. They are some great kids. Makes me want to settle down and start raising my four. (I know, I know, I'm crazy).

Sunday I had to go over to a friends house and do laundry. Oh the joys of laundry. 18 loads to go....18 loads to go....you take one down....well you get the idea. I just sat on the couch and watched a couple of movies, including Transformers, one of the greatest movies of all. After I finished my laundry it was time for me to go bowling for my league, Viva Las Vegas and my wonderful team, "The Gutter-warmers".

I couldn't believe what happened. I bowled the highest game of my life. I got a 154 (without my extremely high handicap) and my first turkey, which for those of you who don't bowl, is three strikes in a row. Now this may seem like a low number to you, but for me, who's average is 107, it was the best thing that I have ever done in bowling. My teammates were in awe. The second and third games left something to be desired. I went to a 124 in the second and 107 on the third game. I couldn't get my footing right and the ball was having issues leaving my hand, as my thumb got stuck a few times.

We still managed to beat the team we were playing in all three games though. Thank god for handicaps. They took it a little too seriously. They were all yelling and cursing on the way out the door. I can't stand sore losers; it takes some of the fun out of the game. So overall I would say one of the best weekends in a long time.
