Here is a snapshot of the current housing market in Berkeley County West Virginia.

As of the 10/24/07 there are 1808 current residential active and under contract listings in Berkeley County. Currently 180 of these total homes are under contract which equates to 9.9% of the total currently listed homes.

The breakdown of the price ranges looks as follows:

• $100K and under- 33 Homes  
• $100+ - 150K- 173
• $150+ - 200K- 515
• $200+ - 250K- 387
• $250+ - 300K- 312
• $300+ - 350K- 169
• $350+ - 400K- 107
• $400+ - 500K- 59
• $500K+ - 53

Of the 1808 active listings, 431 have been on the market 180+ days and 558 total at 90-179 days. This equates to over half of the listings that have been on the market for 3 months or more.
