New Lenox, Illinois is located in Will County, approximately 36 miles southwest of downtown Chicago. The Village of New Lenox is approximately 14 square miles in area, bordering City of Joliet immediately to the west, Mokena and Frankfort to the east and Manhattan to the south. With a population of approx 25,000 (2006) residents and growing every day it has become one the “hottest spots” to live in Will County. There is a large amount of vacant land available for commercial and residential real estate development. New Lenox boasts one of the lowest tax rates in Will County.
