Fun In and Around Hall County GA

Fall is in the air in North Georgia! With the cooler temperatures and the changing of the leaves, it's time to get outdoors and have a little fun.

UNCLE SHUCK'S in Dawsonville, GA Hwy 53, 2 miles west of GA 400 (just past GA 400 Premium Outlet Mall). Take a moment to read "The Legend of Uncle Shuck" on their website and view an aerial shot of Uncle Shuck's CORN MAZE - this year's celestrial theme "The Man In the Moon". Don't get caught sneeking through the corn to get to the other side or you may have to start over (my daughter heard voices through the corn and thought she would take a short cut and join them--not!). There is CORN CANNON, an old time HAYRIDE including a BONFIRE with Marshmallow Roasting and PUMPKINS of all sizes to purchase.

BURT'S PUMPKIN FARM off Hwy 52 Dawsonville, GA for a two mile HAYRIDE through the popcorn and pumpkin fields, crossing over a mountain stream which ends with a hilltop view lof Burt's Farm and Amacalola Falls. Don't forget to Pick a Pumpkin from the PUMPKIN PATCH.

OKTOBERFEST in Helen, GA runs through November 4, 2007 for a family Bavarian Alpine adventure.
