November Market for Tillamook Oregon

The winter months are often a slow time in the local market and it seems that sales locally are reflecting the time of year more than what we hear for most of the rest of the country. Prices seem to be evening out which should help the new buyer, yet not hinder the current seller. As a matter of fact we had half as many new listings in our local multiple service in the month of Novermber than the monthly average since January of 2006. In November of 2005 the multiple listing service in my area saw 72 new listings, whereas, November this year there were only 56 new listings. Sales may be slowing down in the Tillamook area, but don't seem to be slowing down much differently than they do this time of year naturally. Of course, many people have the dream of owning beach front or view property and in Tillamook County people have those and other choices. In Tillamook we have river front, river views, mountain views, valley views, and everything in-between.

Umitalla is quite a distance from Tillamook.  It is close to the Washington state border and would probably be considered in Eastern Oregon, whereas; Tillamook is right on the Pacific Coast.

Here is some info on Umitalla you may find interesting: http://www.umatilla.org/
