Enough already

Ok, enough already about the Real Estate Market. People we have to remember that Real Estate is LOCAL. Sellers if you want your home sold in this market remember to price it to sell. Go outside your home and stand on the curb. Have you done that yet? Ok, now what do you see. Just pretend that you are a potential buyer and really look at not only your home but your yard as well. What do you see? Does everything look neat and tidy? Is there over grown shrubbery, trees, or does the outside need a little sprucing up? Ok, everyone seems to know that there are a lot of homes on the market here in Pensacola Florida so, don't let your home sell the one down the street. There are buyers ready willing and able to buy don't let your home get passed by.

Hi Diane,

Long time ..no see. Good idea to let sellers reflect on their real agenda as to the motivation.

Now - That's the way to tell them, Dianne - just some great direct forward, pulling-no-punches straight talk!

Great advice that never gets tired of being said - getting a good objective look at property is key to improvement awareness!

Dianne, It's funny that people have such a difficult time being  objective about their home.  Hopefully they can see things they haven't noticed before.

I have to agree with Carole, people are way to emotional about their homes so they can't be objective. It is hard to convince them that it is a commodity and not personal.

Everyone wants penthouse prices for their outhouse.  The lasting effects of the boom will leave residuals for years to come.

Dianne, you can get arrested for standing at street corners :)

And I don't have to look at my house because I know that it is best one on the block. It is waaaaaay better than everyone else.

People (sellers) need to take off those rosey glasses and see the world for what it is! Nice post, Dianne.

Neal:  Hi, thanks for commenting.  I hope the sellers read this.

Deborah:  Hello, Sometimes you just have to be direct.

Carole:  I understand how some sellers feel because it is emotional for some to sell their homes.

Gaylen:  How right you are.  Thanks for commenting.

Rob:  Point well taken.  Thanks for commenting.

George:  You are so funny!!  Hey, that is what everyone else says too.  Do you need a Realtor?  Thanks for commenting George.

Gary;  Hi, hope your weekend was great.  It is time not just for sellers, but for buyers also to take off the rosy colored glasses.  Thanks for stopping by.
