Wow that looks great. They did a really nice job. Awesome.
J.
fantastic job Maureen!! Very warm and welcoming! Is that flat screen yours? is it a prop? was it ridiculously expensive? We wanted to get some, but we were to cheap to spring for the price!
Jeff ~ Thanks for stopping by and for your comment!
Nancy ~ The prop 38" plasma screen is from Props by IDM. If you buy 4 of them you get one free, so the cost works out to about $65 each including shipping. they can be either wall-mounted or placed on a stand, and the frame can be silver or black. I use them quite a bit and find they lwork well for staging a TV area. Thanks for your nice comments.
Maureen - cool and refreshing with just the right accents. VERY PRETTY!
Sheron ~ Thank you! The broker and the investors were happy with the outcome and we were too!
Maureen ~ Great job! It looks like a lot of work went into those units. Did you do all three units?
What a wonderful job! I love the color palate you chose- I have the same bedding. KH
Great job Maureen!!! The finished product is done very well! Regards-Kathleen G
Maureen, as always your staging is so tasteful and inviting. Great job and congratulations on the 3 quick sales. I know that the condo market here has cooled a bit, so that is really a feather in your cap.
Kathy P. ~ Yes, these units were previously apartments and the contractor did a nice job converting them to condos. They even used slab granite in the kitchen & bathroom, and bamboo floors along with S/S appliances....not what you'd expect in a complex of $145 - $255K condos. I just staged the one model unit. Thanks for stopping.
Kate ~ Thanks so much! That bedding was only $90 from Marshall's. I love that it doesn't need any ironing!
Kathleen ~ Your comment is much appreciated...thanks as usual! :-)
Kathy A. (my friend across the river!) ~ You're right, the condo market has really slowed here in our area. We're hoping the remaining units are snapped up before long. Thanks for your very kind comments.
Really beautiful work! A great job of making the spaces feel warm and inviting!
Maureen with such beautiful staging - these places will sell like hotcakes! I love everything you did - makes me want to move in. The wicker night stands in the bedroom are fabulous. I will be keeping my eye out for some of these to add to our inventory. Betty
Melissa ~ Thanks very much for your comment. You know, when we were working on this unit, it just felt warm and I think the wall color had something to do with that....it was a soft buttery color. When I found the upholstered chairs it turned out they had the same color in the background field, which was a happy coincidence so they all worked together.
Betty ~ Those wicker cube tables are slightly tapered and work as nightstands or end tables. Thy're from Pier 1....found them for about $48 ea on sale so I snapped up several. They're great for staging since they're so lightweight....it seems like lately I only buy things that are easy to move around! Thanks for stopping by.
Maureen, that is absolutely beautiful. I LOVE those living room chairs and recognize the furniture. We must shop at the same furniture store. Shhhhhh, I won't give away our secret!
Terry ~ Tell me, where are those chairs from? I rented them! I liked the sofa color (kind of celery) and thought the chairs looked great with it. Thanks for stopping!!
Beautiful, Maureen. Every room is absolutely gorgeous. I have no doubt that what you've done with your staging expertise will help sell the home!
Kathy
Hi Maureen, I love everything! It's comtemporary but very warm and inviting; not always easy to achieve! I love your color choices, as well.
Maureen - I love doing models also. Yours is so clean-lined yout comfortable. Not over-the-top "decorating", and shows off the spaces well. Congrats! Julie
Hi Maureen-
Nice job & I like the scale of the furnishings. Thanks for sharing the source of the wicker end table-I like it, too and agree with you about looking for lighter weight accessories whenever possible.
Kathy
Kathy N. ~ Thank you so much for the feature! Our fingers are crossed that the remaining units will sell quickly.
Abby ~ This client asked for modern but not over-the-top-trendy so that it would appeal to either a younger or an older buyer. Hopefully we achieved that balance. Thanks for your comment!
Julia ~ Thank you for your nice comments. Have you staged many models? They're fun to do aren't they?
Kathy R. ~ Although this 2-bedroom condo is just 900 sq ft, the living room was surprisingly large, so we were able to make two separate seating areas within it. I think it ended up looking larger than when it was vacant. Thanks for your comment!
Nice job. The after pictures make the rooms look larger than when they were under construction.
Steve ~ Nice to see you here and thanks for your comment. It's funny how proper staging can actually make a room look more spacious, isn't it?
Maureen thanks for the info. I will be scouring our Pier Ones for these tables. Betty
Hi Maureen,
This looks a lot like a little project that I'm going to list on Bainbridge Island. You'd never guess the price from the after pictures. I just goes to show that lower end property can benefit from staging just as much as our fancier listings.
I hope mine sell as fast as yours.
Clean, sharp & inviting - great job!
Susan P. ~ It's true that even these lower-priced properties can benefit from staging! How great that you as a realtor who stages her listings is encouraging others along these lines. I have no doubt that your project will be wildly successful and can't wait to see the photos when it's done!
Susan C. ~ Thanks very much for your kind words.
Maureen, Rooms to Go has that exact "room", chairs and coffee and end tables. I LOVE those chairs and may just have to buy them. Lucky you can rent good looking stuff. Here the rental furniture is CRAP!
Terry ~ We don't have Rooms to Go here, but they sound like a great store! Luckily we do have several good options for furniture rental and some of their inventory is from Ashley Mfg. I've often considered buying some items like these, but wonder why I should pay to transport & store them when someone else will do that instead. I guess it's the age-old stager's dilemma.
Yeah Maureen, if I had an option I would prefer to rent. It gets very expensive buying for vacants, and then what the heck to do with all of it when I retire? Right now the lugging of furniture is getting real old real fast. But whats a stager to do?
How pretty, yet clean lined and open. Love it Maureen! Your so good at this!
Julianna ~ Thank you! I'm still improving on each and every project and it's really nice to get such positive feedback, and much appreciated.
Terry ~ I'm with you! The least favorite part of staging is the schlepping around of all our inventory, isn't it? Sometimes I hope no ones sees me in my SUV that is absolutely jammed pack to within an inch of it's life!!
You got that right Maureen. My husband keeps "suggesting" we could get more in our beater pick up truck. Its embarassing enough to pull up to a house in my nice Honda Element with all kinds of stuff sticking out the windows. He doesn't get that we have an image to portray, and a beater pickup truck is not that image. THATS why I don't ask for his help very often :-)
Maureen - Great staging! And thanks for the tip on the fake plasmas - I'm needing to invest in that.
Terry - I'm with you on the furniture rental - I have one store that has only a couple of decent pieces and I have those in a house right now - the rest is so junky and DIRTY! Needless to say, I am with you on getting tired of hauling furniture! I figure if I get my local rental store enough business they'll buy me some new stuff to use!
Maureen, I love, love, love your work! This is beautiful. I appreciate you showing these fantastic photos! Great Job!
Sheri ~ The prop plasmas are becoming more and more popular and fit well into many different settings.....thanks for your comment.
Yvonne ~ Thank you so much for your very kind compliment -- you've really made my day!
No wonder, it looks awesome. What items are in the basket on the bathroom countertop? Great job
Phyllis pafumi
Phyllis ~ Thanks for your comment! On the bathroom vanity, there's a bowl with a variety of bath accessories to give it a spa-like feel: some small soaps, a loofah, shells, woven spheres, vanilla sachets for scent, a small fern, & some bath products in little jars.
Maureen, I'm apparently VERY late but had to comment when I saw this, your staging is just phenominal! It's in move in condition and looks fantastic, I'm not at all surprised at the quick sale. Beautiful job!
Carole ~ Thank you so much for your kind remarks. It was a fun project and everyone was pleased with the outcome, which I guess is all we can ask for!
Beautiful work of carrying the whole inviting feel throughout the unit Maureen! Great pictures as well. I love seeing great staging at work.
Thank you Beth for your kind words. Sometimes it just works out just the way we want, doesn't it?
I don't know how I missed this post, but I'm loving this redo. I have that same end tables, have them in round too. This turned out great.
Very nice - I love that chair!
Cindy ~ Thanks, I didn't know those tables come in a round style as well. I'll have to find some!
Kimberley ~ The pattern is fun, isn't it? Thanks for commenting.
