Learjet is building a new biz jet and they are doing it in Wichita.
A new job training center is being built at the corporate airport in NE Wichita.
Rental costs are going up and vacancy rates are going down in the city.
Real estate sales are only down 1-2% from the all-time recod year of 2006. They are actually 4% higher than our 2nd best year in 2005.
A new Destination Casino will be built around 15 miles south of Wichita in Summer County.

I'm new to the real estate market, and I'm always hearing people talk about how slow it is right now. This information seems to point me in the opposite direction, and give me hope that I can do this if I want to badly enough (which I DO!). Thanks for the encouraging news.
