Olathe Housing Authority Announcement

From today's Kansas City Star Olathe Neighborhood News section:

Olathe Housing Authority will accept preliminary applications from Dec. 3 through Dec. 31 to place names on the waiting list for Public Housing Scattered Site Units and the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program.

Families applying for housing assistance must apply in person at 201 N Cherry in Olathe.

Priority is given to families that meet "local working preference" guidelines.

Elderly and/or disabled individuals also have a preference....

So if you are looking for Section 8 housing you might want to get on the list. If you have a house that isn't renting you might want to call the Olathe Housing Authority and submit your house.
