I've recently been working with the Active 55+ age group which have given me ideas about the communities and reasons why seniors should consider the Triangle. Here are a few posts about Active Adult Seniors in the Triangle and the communities that are available in the area:
I've also spent some time at Carolina Preserve watching the community grow and develop in a short period of time.
Carolina Preserve is at it again with the release of Phase III homesites for delivery in 2008 and the first opportunity to view the new Twin Villas. The model homes will be ready and include the Kenwood and Muirfield. The Twin Villas are low maintenance attached ranch-style homes with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage.
Bradford Hall, the 34,000 square foot seniors facility, will be completed and ready for a spectacular grand opening. Bradford Hall features fitness facilities, indoor and outdoor pools, bocce ball and tennis courts, a chipping and putting green, billiards room, library, multi-purpose rooms and great room.
The Grand Opening of the Twin Villas at Carolina Preserve in Cary, NC, will take place Sunday, December 16th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The photo I've taken above at the bottom right is the model under construction. For the opening the Twin Villas model homes will be completed featuring the Kenwood and Muirfield. The Twin Villas are low maintenance attached ranch-style homes with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage.
Last, but certainly not least, Del Webb appointed Mayshanna Briscoe as its lifestyle director. If you are thinking of retiring in the Triangle and are looking for a qualified expert please contact me at Tracy@TracySantrock.com.

Tracy - Lovely community for your seniors or I should say middle aged citizens of Cary, NC.
Tracy, I've visited Cary a number of times on business, and now it seems the retirement community has found out about its loveliness too. Great links on the area.
Tracy, This is such a beautiful community I want to live there!!!!!
Tracy - It looks like fall is in the air in NC. This does look like a fabulous place.
Tracy, Looks like a nice community....nice photo layout, too.
Hi Gary,
It's a table w/html code. If you send me an email I can send you the code.
Tracy, Great post. You will be busy selling retirement homes as baby boomers discover your area.
Gita - NC has surpassed FL as the #1 State for retirees. Housing and taxes are still considered to be favorable which has led to an influx of retirees. It's fun seeing the transition and builders are finally catching on too!
Great photos. Cary is a growing city and a great place to live.
You just wouldn't believe the unveiling yesterday. There must have been over 300 people!!
