What a great surprise it was to see that my points have now reached 50,000. How exciting that is and what gratitude it brings to my soul as I ponder on all the outstanding blogs I have read and beautiful friendships I have gained. This place, ActiveRain, simply pours with greatness. It’s no wonder that those points rack up because I find myself completely lost in the rain seeking knowledge, inspiration, and laughter on a daily basis.
And that is why, I can step back today in the busyness of the world and say Because of YOU I am Grateful and take this opportunity to walk side by side with each of you and share the gratitude I feel for this incredible place.
On May 10th, 2007 I activated my profile on ActiveRain and ever since I have been completely hooked. Hooked on great people sharing their knowledge, inspiration and laughter.
I started out today writing a spotlight on the people who have really touched my life in a very profound way. Then the thought came to me, “there are so many”. I don’t want to leave anybody out. So I will tell you, everybody who has the chance to read this and those who don’t. Because of YOU I am Grateful and Because of YOU:
- I wake up in the morning to read and comment on your amazing blogs.
- I return at night to see if there is anything new (I don’t want to miss a thing).
- I have laughed until my tummy hurt so bad, I thought I just had the worlds best abs workout.
- I have shed tears from your heartfelt stories you have shared and incredible comments you have made on my blogs and others.
- I have had the privilege of hearing your amazing voice on the phone, been the recipient of your kind letters and sincere personal emails.
- I have gained the understanding that we are all, for the most part on common grounds in our industry.
- I have received the gift of your heart, your inspiration and your divine values.
- I have gained the confidence that it’s OK to share what is in my heart.
- I have found the balance I was seeking.
- I have implemented wonderful tools into my blogs, such as graphics, widgets, html, slide shows and You Tube.
- I have learned how to send a very professional expired letter, FSBO letter, and create a realistic business plan.
- I have felt as though I have traveled the world through your eyes.
- I have learned the importance of a blogsite, website and creative marketing.
- I have learned the importance of tags, syndication, and titles.
And most of all Because of YOU I am Grateful for your Friendship, Support, Respect, and just simply being YOU and allowing me to be ME.
