Port St. Lucie Builder is Helping People Pay Their Mortgage

In Port St. Lucie, Florida yesterday 18 homes where raided by the police as grow houses. These poeple where school teachers and for the most part honorable people that got jammed up and could not pay their bills. In many cases the people would move out of the homes and the builder would have his tenants move in and he would pay the person's mortgage for them.

I guess when your desperate people will do just about anything.

It's getting pretty bad out there to stoop to this...what is the world coming too?

Neal, I know. Maybe I am naive but I never would of thought of this.

I've run into one or two of those around here doing inspections.

It's kind of obvious if you kow what you're looking for.

Never seen it on that big a scale here though it probably is, just hasn't made the news yet.

Hi Matt, guess these folks had a different definition for a money tree.

Erby, I can't believe the builder would get involved liked this.

Keith & Robin, True.. very true...everything was just so green..:-)

Wow, Amazing...

Lysa, I know right.. but the sad part is are you really surprised?

I moved to TN 3 years ago from Pt St Lucie, Fl and this just boggles my mind, especially with 3 children who were in schools there. Times are tough...but..I am just speechless !

Melissa, The sad part is I am not. With business as tough as it in Port St. Lucie. Thanks for your comment

Wow Matt,

That's pretty amazing. I can't believe the builder would put themselves at risk like that.  And they thought they could get away with it???

Cheryl, I know right.... but can you honestly say you could not see this coming?

Matt,

With this being South Florida, I guess I should have seen it coming. They must have been smoking what they were growing tho  :)

This is the first I have ever heard of anything like this. Interesting. People crack me up....

Cheryl, Hey free rent and all the .....you can smoke...lol   Great deal until you get caught

Sally, Anything for a buck

The builder needs to do damage control and change his advertising

"Going green to help the community"
Now can you picture that slogan on their new billboard?

Todd, You are right!...Oh wow man!
