Let's join our voices here at Active Rain and Support our Troops and LetsSayThanks and send a quick post card from you and your families! A dear Active Rain member challenge us all to do our part and post within our own communities and send a postcard to our troops! Xerox has made this an easy challenge to do with their user friendly site. It's easier than composing an email. I want to challenge all of Albany, Brownsville, Lebanon, and surrounding areas in Linn County and my blogging community to share your well wishes to those sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, mothers and fathers who have spent time away from their love ones for our freedoms! As we comfortably gather Christmas morning or snuggle close to our families at night, let us remember them and the sacrifices they make daily. May you all take a moment of your time and click two clicks away to send a postcard from your family!
The postcards, depicting patriotic scenes and hometown images, were selected from a pool of entries from children across the country. It takes less than one minute to hit the send button! Sometimes the smallest of gestures mean the most, won't you join me and other Active Rain members to wish our Troops a Happy Holiday!

I love how this send a card to our troops is taking over the net! Sounds strange, but can we actually send enough to bankrupt Xerox?

Alecia-quite beautiful to say the least. I love Margaret's idea to get this going. Imagine all the people who have joined in because of this wonderful challenge.
Alecia: You know what? This reminds me that I need to do my localism post about this great way to send our love to our troops. I'm putting it on the top of my list now!!
Julie- I am hoping that with all of the active rain members that we have, that we'll be able to get the message across loud and clear!

Hi Alecia-I salute you girl and I salute our troops! This year, I have thought more about them than buying my own family gifts right now... It sounds really bad but they need us! I am on a deadline...I am sending a care package. My husband was in the military so I asked him the things they would miss and want. They are always in my thoughts.
Midori- They do need us to show that we care! I am sure your care package will be an awesome one!
