Weston FL Real Estate
Weston FL homes-Dress up your landscaping during the holidays.
Living in Weston FL has it's rewards. Besides all the beautiful weather we seem to always have the homes in Weston FL seems to always have those lushly landscaped yards. As a matter of fact...as you drive down the main street of Weston Road you can actually see some of these dressed up homes as well as the community landscaping which is always out in full bloom.
When I list homes for sale in Weston FL ...I like to make sure the properties presentation is at it's finest.
Since I needed to keep up with the refurbishment of our home.... I recently started my landscaping project. Since we moved here we have had to do a few renovations while keeping up with the rest of the property. Then I decided it was time to re-do our landscaping.
As you can see....I am very proud of my design. Before it looked very cluttered and most of the plants were over grown and the mulch was just disintegrating and had to be constantly replenished. I decided through past trial and error to go a bit more expensive using two different rocks to make pop. i used lava rock around the perimeter and river rock wrapped around black rubber borders. This way it is not as busy as it was and is a lot more manageable. Less maintenance and space is the key to presenting your landscaping to it's fullest appearance. I also added additional soil and raised up one end to give it a 3D effect.
Homes in Weston FL are constantly going through changes...let your landscaping give you the curb appeal you deserve. A quality overhaul of your exterior will surely add value to your home and why not dress it up for the holidays when visitors come by to celebrate.

VERY nice, Neal I'm impressed, especially with the lighting, Great photo.
Jeff
Neal, that's a dramatic change! I love the way accent lighting makes a landscape just "pop" at night. I really like your photo...it captures the effect so well.
Hey Neal, I love the pics...what a great job...nice "tie in" too! :)
Neal, It is amazing how much better the house looks with lights..:-) Hope you have a great Hanukkah.
Jeff,
Thanks for taking the time to check it out.
Linda,
I actually had taken a photo of it before but it was somehow erased from my camera.
Vicky,
Thanks for stopping by to read it.
Matt,
As well as you my friend. You should have seen it before...definitely the neighbors noticed...a few of them knocked on the door and asked me how I did it.
Very nice...I wish I could have a palm tree - looking plant!
Kelly,
I love palms...always wished I would have one to sit under:)
They are genrally easy to take care of too. The Christmas palms on the end come single or two or three together.
Neal, looks like you might have another line of work if the Real Estate business does not work out for you, or you might try doing mortgages :)
George,
I designed it all..my guy just planted and did the demo:) Don't mention mortgages or the google alert might go off under Neal Bloom.:)
Hi Neal,
This is a subject that's near and dear to my heart. Being a gardener from the Garden State and all. I love to garden and sometimes wish I could live in a year round warm climate. But I would miss the four seasons. Love the pics. Great job on this post!
Lisa
Lisa,
I designed it...the boys did the labor. Normally I do it all but this had too many roots to remove..one plant took two days to dig up and one day for them to recover:)
Neal, You did a great job. Sure wish we had some Palm trees here, they are so beautiful and your lights really accent the landscaping.
Neal, I'm a garden fanactic and I truly love your use of rocks, mulch and the curves. I actually like watching "The Garden Police"...is a garden makeover show...goofy but some great ideas! By the way, I was wondering if I need to be invited to write a post about my 50,000 points...I'm way past that point but don't want to do anything without an invite. Could you email me? Thanks!
Neal, it's 25 degrees up here. Grey, cold and slightl hail. Just a raw day. 4:30PM and its already dark. I stopped by your blog and see lush green palm trees. You're adding to seasonal depression. Seriously, Weston looks like paradise.
Neal.. What a lovely house.. If only sellers would realize how often a buyer makes half of the decision to purchase a home based on how it appeals to him on the outside. I can't count the number of buyers who refused to get out of the car if the exterior was not appealing..
Carole,
Thanks.....I actually love all kinds of palms...it makes me feel like I'm in the tropics:)
Andrew,
Sorry about the bad weather but you have to understand that is why I moved here...the weather is awesome! Come visit! Thanks.
Kaye,
That is actually my home. It's just another factor to add curb apeal when you are trying to attract people to purchase a home in Weston FL or in any other area for that matter. Thanks!
Neal.. You have a lovely home.. did I tell you yellow is my favorite color?
Kaye,
Thanks for the compliment. The color us actually called gold finch with a cream border. We take pride of our small diggs. After working to pay for it...I want it to look as good as our last home.
