Santa's Little Helper and 42 Christmas Trees

This is better than I can do.Running out of time in Ann Arbor, Michigan to get your presents wrapped? There is great little company that I found in Ann Arbor, Mi called, Santa's Little Helper.

Santa's Little Helper will come into YOUR home and wrap your presents, stuff your stockings. They are currently offering 10% off on all wrappings before December 15th, 2007. To see the prices, click here.

WOW wouldn't you like to open this ?

I saw this on YouTube, a video of  Cindy Johnson who has 42 Christmas Trees in her home in Lyndon Township. Cindy is an IT Supervisor at Borders Corporate office in Ann Arbor, Mi. Lyndon Township is located in Washtenaw County. Cindy has each of her 42 Christmas trees decorated with a different theme.

Enjoy !

Missy, I thought I had a lot of Christmas decorations, but this lady breaks the record.

Missy, until I saw your post I thought the best thing that ever happened to me and gift wrapping was the gift bag! I'm terrible at wrapping gifts, but now, there is hope!

That woman sure has a lot of Christmas decorations!

Mana, talk about a lot of trees !!

Linda, FYI my kids hated the bags, so I had to wrap every year. I did bags one year and it was not a hit, but it was soooooo much easier.

Missy, I guess some people collect brass elephants, some people collect cats and then there are the Christmas ornament collectors.  What a wonderful country we live in.  :))

Hi Missy, Boy we have gotten busy now, a gift wrapping service?

I can't get over all the Christmas stuff that woman has! I would love her village!

Santa's little helper was the name of the dog on the Simpsons animated series.  (Just a little bit of trivia)  LOL

We're doing pretty well with doing one main tree, and a few others here and there. Not sure where it gets obsessive, but think it's probably before you get to 42. Bet it's a real looker though.

Also like the photos in your post above.

best

Missy,

Santa's helper sounds just like what I could use right now....I don't even have time to blog I'm so busy with Christmas preparations!

I loved the video...thanks for sharing it.  ((-:

Missy, Chris took my bit of trivia. You have to admit, that's a great descriptive name for a business. Santa's Little Helper!

That is wild!  I have seen gift wrappers at the mall and other retailers but I have never heard of a company that comes to you!  Someone will probably make some serious dough on that one.

I keep on putting off the wrapping. I would love to hire an elf.  And that women with 42 trees- I'm 36 trees behind her.

Missy- That is cute! And so needed right now by so many people. What a great business idea! Katerina

I don't know which person I'm more excited for:  The people that run Santas Little Helper or Cindy.  I know I could have used the Santa service this year!   And Cindy, wow, does she have holiday spirit or what?  How much fun she must have all year round adding to her collection!

42 trees! Yikes. My Missus complains that I never give the live tree a straight cut on the bottom so it lists while it's propped in the stand, sort of like a Christmas tree on the Titanic!

I don't celebrate Christmas but dam...that's a lot of trees.....I guess some people have interesting hobbies:)

Gail, it is a great county and you never know what people start to collect. My mother collected old cups and saucers and now I have them all.

Lysa, the email for the Santa's helper is a umich.edu so I assume it might be a student. How creative ! Great way to make money during the break.

Chris, thanks didn't know that.

Gary, that is some of the wrapping paper she uses. Pretty huh ? Fancier than mine.

Jo-Anne, I thought it was a wonderful idea to help people out. I hate all the wrapping.

Gary, :)

Jonathan, I have seen non-profits doing it in the mall too, but not this service.

Lisa, wow that is a lot of trees you have too.

Katerina, there is always a need for everything and she is filling that need. Find a need and fill it, I have always heard.

Kris, she says people give her their old trees and she bids for ornaments on e-Bay. Each ornament has it's own box. Amazing isn't it?

Andrew, before we went artifical a few years ago, the kids just didn't want to go cut them down anymore, my husband and I always fought over getting the tree straight. I doubt it is unusual.

Neal, lucky you ! Yes, that is a lot of trees.

Missy - Interesting site!  Looks like someone was thinking 'outside the box' and has hit on a winner.  For those that have way too much going on in life, this could be an absolute blessing.

Missy,

Oh my goodness, I just watched this video. So far I haven't even put up my tree!

Carole, I think it is a student by their email address and I think it is great.

Lynda, my tree is up and 2 gifts bought, 4 ordered, got my cards today. I am making progress, as of Tuesday I had NOTHING done. Except the kids and Mike did most of the tree.

Missy - What a great way to give a dual benefit - that blog should help both your readers and the small business that you wrote about.

Missy, looks like the Christmas spirit is alive and well in Ann Arbor. Sometimes it's a challenge to get past the commercialism here because it doesn't actually "feel" like Christmas when it's 70 or 80 degrees outside. :-)
