Feel Like Lenders Just Don't Care?

Lenders and Investors all over the country are being hit hard by the current crisis in Lending Industry. Do you feel like your Lender doesn't get it? Are Lenders like Kings and your are just their for amusement?

Press Play

Well this was just a movie and hopefully you got a good chuckle out of this. The truth is Lenders are not Kings and right now they have problems just like everyone else. If you are facing ARM that is coming due, Payment Lates or even the beginning of the Foreclosure process don't be intimidated by them. My first recomendation is to speak to your Licensed Mortgage Professional who comes recomended to you by past clients and not by a fancy flier in the mail or cold calling you promising you everything under the son.

Yup....being referred by someone who has used the lender before is a big plus to make for a smooth transaction. Thanks Matt! (the King was shooting people in the air....took me a minute to grasp that haha)

Sally, I agree it really does help to have someone recommend.  Glad you like the King

Good post Matt!! Took me a minute too to get it....kinda slow on the coffee. :0

While getting ready for work yesterday I saw a infomercial staged to look like a news broadcast (with an anchor and ticker tape on the bottom of the screen). I actually thought at first it was a news station till I listened for a bit and realized it was a commercial from a lender promising the moon.

Keith & Robin, Don't you just love those ad's..Thanks for the comment.

Matt, Thank you!  I needed a good laugh!

Matt, thanks for keeping it light!  By the way, 1) how do you get a youtube video in your post like that? 2) what about copy scape...does it work?  Thanks and have a good weekend!

Picked off another one is their attitude in most cases. Much nicer to see lenders that appreciate the business we bring to them. Good luck and keep your head down they are trying to get you.

Rey, My pleasure... Nothing beats Mel Brooks for a good laugh

Rich, http://activerain.com/blogsview/90404/How-to-put-You    Follow that link for the video. Copy scape is just to be safe. Hope you have a great weekend as well

Terry, Thank you...I am only 5'9" so I don't have to duct to far

It's a shame that Mel only made History of the World Part I... Have been holding out for a sequel...

Glad I haven't been holding my breath!

Great Post Matthew,  I love Mel Brooks.  So...thank you for that! You have to know who you are dealing with these days.

Matthew, I know how you feel what a great movie.

Barbara, Thank you. I agree you really have to know who you are dealing with

I think that the first person that calls you after reading this is the Loan Professional that was MEANT TO BE...

I mean... they already have your phone number and everything!

A good referral source is worth her weight in gold. Of course sometimes the good guys send out shiny flyers too, LOL. Matt, you are right though most often there is a solution to these types of problems waiting at the mortgage table

Katerina, Glad you I made you smile..:-)

Christopher, Thank you.. I agree a good source is worth there weight in gold

Matthew

I am sure that a good amount of Realtors and clients out there feel this way.  It's important for professionals such as you and I to educate them on what's going on in our industry now.

For myself, even though I have 37 years behind my belt, I and my colleges in my office are asking ourselves what's next.  Sometimes, with all the changes taking place almost daily, we feel like we are starting over.  We all pride ourselves in "knowing our stuff", but we are being bombarded daily with new guideline changes.

Thus, we have to ensure that any client that we are dealing with is kept abreast of these changes that affect them.

Merry Christmas

Wayne, I know exactly what you mean about starting over.  Every day things keep changing...We have to keep our clients educated
