Lenn,
Interesting how some of those counties did better than last year. I guess the market wasn;t so bad after all
Neal.
Look again. I posted the numbers of detached homes sold. That's the real story.
Lenn, a couple of those counties really took a hit from 2006 to 2007.
By the way Great Map, love the way the colors work with each other throughout the map.
Thanks George. The price trends are evident from year to year.
But, it's the numbers of sales that is the real story.
Lenn you are right everyone of those counties took a big time hit in the number of sales. Lets hope you guys get back to a least 2006 numbers in 2008.
Lenn- After so many years of record sales it's hard to put a lowere volume level in perspective.. maybe you are just approaching a normal market.. The market may be slow but it doesn't appear to be in crash dive mode
Although the number of sales went down everywhere, I think it's interesting that the sales price went up in a few. We find areas in the Miami market doing the same.
George. The numbers of sales continues to drop.
Kaye. Normal is where we were pre boom. We have a long way to get there.
Maggie. It's very hard, very hard indeed to get prices down. But, buyers don't have any trouble not buying.
Sellers have that wonderful feeling of superiority and control whild keeping their price up. Buyers however, are buying new construction where they can get more house for the money or renewing their lease.
Lenn,
My eyes must have too many potatoes in them...I guess I missed that...now that is more realistic unfortunately. Happy Holidays my friend!
outrageously nice map, as usual. And your numbers look about right, about the same as ours: declines most everywhere, but not all.
Hope you are having a grand holiday, and wish you the best.
cheers
Gary and Richard. Thanks for dropping by and cross your fingers for the coming year.
The prices here are not the story. It's the low number of buyers in the market. We need much lower prices to bring them out.
