It's 6:30am on January 3rd, 2008, the wind is howling and the tree leaves whistling. It sounds like a nor-easter! Wait I live in South Florida. The heat is on in the house not AC. Temperature inside a cool 70 degrees, outside an unbearable 35 degrees, I can't imagine with a wind chill. I had to put on shoes and a coat just to go get the newspaper.

Can someone send mea cup of hot coco and an electric blanket?

Brian,
I, too, am complaining about how cold it is here -----though it was 86 and sunny last week - it will be in the 30's and 40's today and sunny......what will we do if it snowed?????????
Julie- stay under the covers......
It's 11 here in Nashville. I used to live in St.Pete! I agree, we are not used to temps below 70. 8-)
Brian, okay, so it does get cold once in a while in Florida. You don't have to whine about the few days a year :) My parents live in South Florida so they're usually bragging about their warm temps while we're shoveling snow.
I usually only turn the heat on in Jan and Feb...just to get the chill out...my solar panels keep my pool water warmer and in the morning I can see the vapors coming off the top...it will be warm sooner than you think! Still beats my old life plowing snow with my snow blower:)
Morning Brian, Yup I'm up early too. but I am lucky, I have a fire going in the fieplace. Be glad to give you that cup of Cocoa if you and your family want to come for a visit. See you later at the office I'm sure. Jackie C
Micheal, Neal, Jackie,
Did you see what Brian Block wrote "don't have to whine"?
Brian,
We expect nothing but perfect weather in south Florida. A hurricane, or cold front or anything more then a few minutes shower late in the day is just not acceptable.
Send your referrals down here I'll be happy to send you a commission once they buy some of this sunshine. People like perfect weather and they will thank you for sending them here, with an occasional whinning here and there.
Sharkey
Wow! It got pretty cold down there in Florida...although I don't think you can beat us up here in the Northeast!
