Lets act like a big city and build a monorail system / light rail from Tempe light rail to Pinnacle Peak Road up Scottsdale Road with a short T line along the 101 east to Tatum and West to parking near Westworld/and Perimeter. Set up parking for commutters and downtown Scottsdale and Phoenix for light rail between Hayden and Scottsdale Road south of 101. An extension of the light rail should eventually go west to the 51 and south along the 51 back to connect with the line again on Washington St ( I think it is Washington?).
We may never catch up with our needs but at least we need to take our heads out of the sand and move forward.
