Portland's Home Staging Round Table on Jan. 12th Moved Us Forward!

The first Stage It Forward Round Table held in Portland OR on Saturday Jan. 12th was very well attended ... 26 home stagers from the Portland OR & Vancouver WA area joined together with a common goal!  I was honored to have been asked to serve as moderator of this excellent group of dedicated home staging professionals.

Our host was Glenn of OR Marketing Furniture Warehouse in Portland. The showroom was a perfect space to hold our discussion, and Glenn also provided a delicious spread of food & beverages for us.  Thanks to Glenn for being such a gracious host! 

Our host also very generously held a door prize drawing for a new 5-piece counter-height dining set!  This beautiful set was won by Judi Shelton of 1st Impressions Home Staging ... congratulations Judi!

Our group had a lively & interesting discussion using the Agenda questions provided by Craig Schiller (founder of the Stage It Forward Forum here on Active Rain).  Our gathering was the first in Portland to be attended by stagers from a wide variety of training backgrounds & experience.  It was an important step in establishing a collaborative group with the common goal of moving staging forward with both the real estate community as well as homeowners.  We're looking forward to our next event ~ and meanwhile have made some great new friends and business connections.
