Mesa Airport Growth

The east valley tribune says the plans to Grow the Phoenix-Mesa airport could help jump-start a new urban area.  Their plan includes a residential neighborhood that promotes employment growth in the region.  The development is planned be a 3,200 acre undertaking.  The first phase could begin in 2009, including new home sites: 3-5 per acre, in the $300K range.  The proposal also contains a park and greenbelt area that would run the full length of the 5 sq. mile property.
