Well, It's official. I have merged my brokerage this week with RE/MAX Gulfstream Realty, the largest brokerage in Manatee County Florida. This is the company with which I worked before opening my own independent office in 2000.
The merger is bringing with it some other changes. My son has worked with me for 5 years as a Buyer's Agent on my team. He is now a partner and the team has a new name, Forbes Advantage Team. Jean Trousdale, our Client Care Manager for a number of years is still in her position and helps us provide excellent service to our customers.
This merger will allow us to focus on even greater customer service rather than the day to day operation of an independent company.
With the merger I am also relocating my office to RE/MAX Gulfstream's Lakewood Ranch Office. This location is cental to Manatee County and will provide easier access for my customers. Now, rather than working out of one office I am able to serve customers from 6 offices:
