Sidetracked not by choice - but making a comeback

I've received several nice emails over the last few days asking why my real estate blog hasn't been updated lately and I sincerely thank all of you who have written with concern.

Several days this month I was blessed to be able to visit family members in Mississippi and upon returning home was welcomed by what I thought was "change in weather" cold symptoms. It turned into something much more viscous and for 2 days I was hospitalized while the very nice doctors and therapists gave me breathing treatments so that I could breathe somewhat normally again.

I am home now, resting, and within a few days the energy level should be back and I'll be back hard at work keeping my eyes open and taking in all that is happening in the real estate market in Macomb County. I have to tell you, even though this is supposedly a "tough" market I have missed it, and I've missed watching the daily changes and keeping on top of things for my clients.

The end of the month is almost here and I'll be back with the monthly market report and will update all of you on what has taken place in Macomb County as far as home sales to start off this New Year.

Hi Kris,
We've missed you and happy you are back.  Hope the recovery is swift and complete.

Hi Kris-glad to hear you will be ok...our weather changes have had an affect on me as well.  Allergies...and asthma attacks...much more frequent than usual.not so bad to be hospitalized...but enough to put a damper in my day...Feel better...and follow doctor's orders.....we've missed ya!

Hi Kris, I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well, the hospital is a very unpleasant place to be in and I'm glad you're home.  I hope you feel better very soon!

Hi Kris, I have checked your postings and noticed that you had not posted anything new. Welcome back. I hope that you get over the what-ever-you-have soon.  8-}

Kris,  It's good to see a post from you. I thought you were still away visiting family when I hadn't seen any posts from you in awhile.

There are some bad bugs going around....keep warm and double up on that vitamin C.  Your clients and all of us will still be here waiting for you once you are all better....

Kris - I pray for a quick recovery! I hope you're feeling better soon!

Kris - Sounds like a very eventful time. Thankfully you are home and hopefully soo back at  full energy, take care.

Kris--So happy to hear that the medical resources in Macomb County took such good care of you. I hope that you will be feeling up to joining in the fun again soon. Take care!

Cynthia:  Thank you.  I've missed being here and especially missed staying on top of things.  Hopefully this week will be the "turn around" week.

Midori:  Thank you - I don't know if it was the weather or all the virus's going around, but it sure sucker punched me.  Glad to be home though!

Carole:  I have a new empathy for those who have been hospitalized for illnessess - even though you are surrounded by caring professionals it isn't a good place to be.  Thank you.

Michael:  Glad to be back so to speak :-)  Thanks Michael, I hope so also.

Jo-Anne:  I'm sitting with my favorite blankie, a glass of water and have vitamins with plenty of C.  I'm loading up on the "get rid of this once and for all" things :-)  Thanks so much Jo-Anne.

Linda: Thanks Linda.  Each day is a bit stronger, in my head I'm feeling better, now just have to convince my body to go along with the game plan :-)

Gary:  It was a wonderful trip and visit.  The homecoming could have been better :-)  Thank you.

Teri:  Thanks Teri, I've missed everything it seems - especially work and my friends here.

Kris - Hope you are up and running soon.  Your last comment reminded me of my favorite things when I'm under the weather - my favorite blankie, ginger ale and saltines.  Take care of yourself.

Hope the rest of the trip was good. Now get a big cup of tea and blog, blog, blog!!!  lol

your friend in Charlottesville

Feel better soon Kris!  I'm relieved that you're home and on the road to recovery.  Thank goodness you had great doctors and nurses to help you shake that bug.

Kris, I had no idea, I knew you were off visiting grandkids, so I thought you just weren't back yet. Oh my, it must have been serious to have been hospitalized. Glad you're better.

Linda:   Here in Michigan we have Vernors - the best Ginger Ale in the world :-)   Thanks Linda.

Andrew:  Funny, I thought with no children in the house anymore we'd avoid most of these bugs.  That's what I get for thinking...Thanks for the good wishes.

Charles:  Still working up to "blog" strength :-)  Thanks buddy.

Chris:   I'm happy to be home also.  Great doctors and nurses, but hospitals are no place for me.  I'm not a good patient :-)   Thanks.

Missy:  I took a detour on my way to PromptCare to the ER (my hubby did) and they kept me.  Wasn't my idea :-)  Kind of shocked me actually...Next time I stay home with my soup and Vernors!

Oh Kris I'm glad you are feeling better!  It might  be a while till you're completely back.  Hope you are just feeling a lot better!!

welcome back - you have been missed in the RAIN

Oh Kris...I'm so very sorry that you've been sick. I've been away for over a week moving my office. I feel so out of the loop right now, and I still have a ton of work. I'll pray that God will make you strong quickly. GBU!!

Everyone:  Thanks so much for the well wishes.  I'm back at work a little each day, and hopefully by this weekend will be back to full strength on the energy level meter.  All of your good wishes has helped tremendously.

Kris, I missed you and am glad to hear you are feeling better.  Take care of yourself!
