Accenture Match Play Golf Championship to be held in Dove Mountain Marana for the second year

The Accenture Match Play Golf Championship in Dove Mountain returns for its second year.

 The Gallery Golf Club in Marana Arizona will be hosting the Accenture Match Play Championship for the second year with the top 64 best golfers playing the Event, and will take place from February 18th - 24th 2008. The Tournament was a great success last year despite some wintery weather that came through the Dove Mountain Marana area for a few days. Over a million dollars was raised in behalf of charities last year from the Championship event. It is an exciting time to see, yet again, players such as the calibre of Tiger Woods, Henrick Stenson, Zach Johnson, K.J. Choi, Aaron Baddeley, Nick OHern,Jeff Maggert,Trevor Immelman,Vijay Singh, and Geoff Ogilvy.

The Ritz Carlton Development is also now under construction in the Community, and will eventually host the Acccenture Match Play Tournament when finished, with a new Jack Nicklaus designed course surrounding it.
