Thoughts for Today

In keeping with my new attempt to strengthen my attitude I have spent some time looking at motivational quotes. I came across this one from Henry David Thoreau:"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined." This is a good one for me, it tells me that I need to plan and to work to making the dream (plan) come true.

In this business if you don't have a dream and work confidently towards it, you will never accomplish them. I am not saying that dreams need to be unrealistic, yet they do have a place in our lives. Realistic dreams followed by work to make them come true is what success is made of. As the weekend approaches, have a great rest of the week, and dream big, realistic dreams!

Thanks Tony and Darcy - I tend to see the negative end of things and I have to work very hard to be positive instead.  I appreciate your posting this.

I think you would enjoy Robert Kiosayki books.  Continue to expand your context beyond what you believe can be  a reality. I was a millionaire by 30 and have seen ups and downs.  I now believe this market is perfect for me.  The worse it gets the more money I will make.  The harder it gets the more people I will save or help.  The less realistic survival becomes the more I will thrive.  The more people make excuses the less competition I will have. The more people stay the same, the more my changes will set me apart.  If you have trouble waking up, fight through it and WORK!  You will sleep better, and soon you will wake up early and be the first one in the office.  If you don't believe it, try it.  What do you have to lose? WORK WORK WORK.  Ask yourself would you be willing to make one more call if it meant it would solve all your financial problems.  I speak for all and do not know your personal situation, so I am sorry if it does not apply to you.  I LOVE THIS MARKET AND WILL DOMINATE IT!!!

Hi Tony & Darcy,

Good info. I just wrote a post about learning more when things go wrong...works for me!

Hey good stuff, it is important to look for the good even when the bad is happening.

Take care!

Speaking of Thoreau, I quote him on my email signatrue and it says:

"Be true to your work, your word and your friends".

That's where I hang my hat.

Thanks for the post.

What a great quote. It is so important to surround yourself with motivational quotes and keep a positive mind frame.

Great quote. Thanks for sharing. If you like to read motivational books you might want to read Your best life now. by Joel Osteen and some of Deepak Chopra's books.

Dreaming is good, but dreams with strategic objectives as their foundation are truly deadly. Lance
