As time drew close to the Nevada caucus' the phones started ringing...political volunteers wanting your opinion, automated phone messages chatting away...in all cases doing surveys and pushing their candidate. People complained that they were on the "Do Not Call" list and the phone calls should not have been coming in. In case you are unaware the "Do Not Call" does not cover charitable organizations or political campaigns. How convenient that this bill got passed by our government and they managed to exempt themselves.

Nevadans who register will be noted on the Secretary of State's voter registration list, frequently used by campaigns to call registered voters. A lot of frustrated voters are tired of having their dinners and evenings interrupted by these calls. The list is called 'voluntary' because it's up to the campaigns to voluntarily honor the voter's preference. Remember political campaigns are exempt and can do what they want on this.
