The New Buffalo Ship and Shore Committee will be starting up this week. We have some new members on the team this year and we are looking forward to another successful year. 2007 was the first profitable festival in a while and we are going to add to last years template which generated a larger turnout. Anyone interested in joining the committee may contact me through active rain. The public is invited to an open forum to ask questions, voice concerns, encourage us, etc. at the Marina Grand in New Buffalo on 2-11-08 at 6:30PM. The New Buffalo Ship and Shore festival is a wonderful experience with something for everyone. Live music, plenty of food and beer, activities, the boat parade, fireworks, etc. If you prefer not to become an active participant in the planning, please make sure you come to the festival which is held in August every year.
