Julie- Utah is most definatily known for great educational institutions. I am sure you will highlight Brigham Young University in your private higher education post! Utah State is a great university too.
JULIE - I like this series, and I think that people will get a lot out of it. This is a great layout, easy to follow, yet packed with good information. Nice job, Julie.
Julie, excellent information. Wow there are just all sorts of additional pieces of information we can include for localism. You just keep thinking of thinking of new local topics. I love it.
Loved to talk to you yesterday. It is so cold here and my hubby didn't make it home ;-( But he is safe at a friends house. Take care and have a great day.
This is a wonderful Localism. Education is certainly high on relocation questions. Homes in my area that are in higher ranked school districts demand a premium of $25,50K depending on the location.
Julie - What a great way to promote higher education. Everybody knows how important good schooling is. This is one of the 1st things people will look at in relocating to a new area. Great work!
Good morning Julie,
More great information for your locals and those relocating to Utah. School and universities are always a popular topic for those relocating. You did good, girlfriend.
Katerina: Thank you for your positive feedback. Oh yes BYU will definitely be highlighted in the private schools section. Utah is packed with fantastic schools and so many opportunities at the same time.
Adam: Thank you so much! This was an educational process in itself. I truly am so grateful to be doing these localism posts. I found out about one of the schools that will soon be a university. That is awesome. I really appreciate your great feedback my friend.
Karen: You are so sweet and it completely made my day to visit with you on the phone yesterday. You are truly such a darling person and I look forward to meeting up with you at one of the conventions. As far as the localism posts go, you should see my folder titled "blogs" in my computer. It's never ending and I so truly love finding out more about our state. Thank you for your kind comment and support.
Lenn: Thank you for your great feedback. I tried so hard to figure out what was next on the list and higher education came so strong to my mind. You are so right, people have this topic high on their question list when relocating. Higher premiums for higher ranked school districts, now that is quite similar to Utah. You have my thoughts going 100 miles an hour on this one. Thank you!
Bill: Higher education is so important as you've mentioned and people do have these questions high on their list for sure. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. Did you see Lenn's comment? That has me thinking about another post around the schools. Absolutely fantastic.
Cynthia: You are just a sweetheart. Thank you so much for your very positive feedback. This is definitely an important topic.
Julie--Good information for those college bound and considering Utah!
I love the way you broke this down into System, private and "other" institutions. I hadn't planned to do that with my relocation post on colleges and universities, but I might be inspired...
What a great break down on your local colleges and universities!
Teri: Thank you for commenting and Utah does have so very much available in higher education.
Margaret: Oh yes, when I saw the extensive list of how many schools we have here in Utah, I instantly thought, I'd better break it down or I would surely lose readers. Thank you for your kind comment and that inspiration just goes in circles my friend. So write away!
Cindy: Thank you so much! My goal is to also provide housing information which will be helpful to the college student.
Great posts. It will be very useful for people considering a move to the area and others just looking at colleges.
Gita: Thank you for your kind comment and I do hope for this to be a great resource for people moving here. Enjoy your day and many wishes for great success.
