Lafayette California was Named After General Marquis-de Lafayette

It may or maybe not be obvious, but the city of Lafayette California was named after General Marquis-de Lafayette.  Last year when the City of Lafayette celebrated the Marquis-de Lafayette's 250 Birthday, a french camera crew came to the city of Lafayette and did a Video Profile.  It is kind of cool, especially if you speak French.
