Tomorrow... I Spill All The Beans about Activerain

Lizette...good luck tomorrow! I hope everyone listens to all the good tips you'll be sharing with them!

You are right many of us get plenty of help and good information to share with each other.

Go for it Lizette.  I tell everyone I meet about Active Rain.  The more I can do to promote the site the more I help myself because I am active on AR.

Congratulations on being invited to speak.  Speakig about Avtive Rain should be pretty easy.  The public expects so much more now, it's good to see someone that embraces technology.

How about taking a video of your talk and posting it on youtube and linking to here so we can see it?  Another great use of AR.

It will be interesting to see how many will actually follow through and join up and then the real test...keep at blogging over time.  I like Larry's idea of the video!

Kim - It will be interesting to see what actually happens. It is the first time there has ever been a meeting like this for KAR.(so I'm told)

Gary - Activerain website is better than any class I have been to or any book I have read on real estate.

Jimmy - I tell everyone too. Not everyone moves forward to join I see.

Deborah - Isn't it wild that so many join and never blog at all?

Lizette, good luck with your panel discussion.  I'm sure that there will be a lot of buzz an lots of questions.  Just don't be surprised if very few actually follow through and join and participate here.  I've had that experience over in Virginia.

Lizette, I recently read that only 10% of the 5% of agents who have blogs post on a regular basis. That's a very small number--and I think we're all here on AR.   Go tell the world!

Don't be surprised if everyone acts excited, but then very few actually act on it. I was reading a post the other day about an agent who told many agents about AR, but there was very little interest. That's just as well for all of us who are willing to put in the time and effort to participate in this community. Many others are not going to make that committment. Good luck. I hope it goes well for you.

Congratulations and "GO GET 'EM!" I'm finding quite a bit of resistance when it comes to the "techno-stuff" as many of the agents in my company put it. All I can say is, "So Sorry, So Sad, Too Bad:" They are missing out on great networking!

That's fantastic GOOD LUCK!  You'll have some new competition once your done Spillin the Beans!  But no ones going to have the staying pwoer you have !

Liz, this is so exciting for you, wish I could be there.  Have someone get your photo !!! ( my uncle was on the Supreme Ct, in KY for many, many years, we just went back in May as they had his Memorial in the Justice Chambers) It was quite spectacular. I know you will do fanatastic!!!

Great job!  But like Martin commented on the Broker Agent News article, there is definitely resistance to blogging and social networks.  Agents looking to be the best in their market will check it out, and do we really need the rest?

Wow! Good for you.  You must be honored!  You dont need to worry about telling because the only ones who will compete are probably already some of your best competition in other ways already - the ones who are serious about the business!

Ten minutes would be enough. You can only say about so much good things abou this site. Besides,you want to make it very concise. Too much information and you might bore them. But as long as you showed enthusiasm while you were talking about Active Rain,I promise you even a total stranger might end up signing up. Please let us know how it went.
