Hi, my name is Todd and I'm a complete loser! (Linda this is for you my friend)
Last Wednesday, the last game before the NBA All-Star game, where Portland’s Brandon Roy did an awesome job and did Portland proud, I, Todd Clark, the biggest loser on the west coast, made a bet with Linda Scanlan that the Portland Trail Blazers would win… and well, I lost and now it is time to pay!

| I’ve loved the Blazers since I was a kid, and we were on a streak when I made the bet. But like all streaks it had to come to an end and I have to admit Dallas was the better team that night.
If Dallas won (which they did 96-76), I would have to write a post about how much better the Dallas Mavericks are, go out and buy a Dallas Mavericks shirt and then wear it around town all day long! But, if Portland won, then Linda would have to do the same in a Blazer shirt in her neck of the woods.

Well, here we go. As you can see I was a little embarrassed to have to wear the shirt around town, but I did it. Even my dad (my best friend) was embarrassed to be seen with me and wore a bag over his head during the photo shoot during half time of the Blazers vs Sacramento game tonight.
So here is to you Linda, your Dallas Mavericks are a better team than the Portland Trail Blazers, and I’m sorry you had to trade your best player for Jason Kidd, but this does give me a little hope in April. You team is superior to the Portland Trail Blazers in every way including having better looking fans than the Portland Trail Blazers. I, Todd Clark, should be so lucky to support such a team as the Dallas Mavericks and bow my head to the superior team and their fans. | |
| There, my part of the bet is paid. Same bet for April’s game? |
